Perceived organizational support, which is an indicator of the organization’s commitment to the employee, creates an obligation within the employee to care about the organizations and reciprocate with commitment and loyalty. Here, it will have an impact to the job satisfaction and has been broadly studied in the literature, due to the fact that many experts, managers as well as researchers, believe its trends can affect and influence work productivity, employee turnover and employee retention. The labour market of the UAE labour market is dominated by expatriate workers primarily from south Asia and UAE nationals. In 2012, it was estimated that close to 95% of private sector companies absorbed the expatriate labour supply and only 5% of Emirati population works in the private sector. Here, this paper will discuss the impact of perceived organizational support and job satisfaction in the UAE.
