The article discusses the problem of the employee suggestion system (ESS) in production companies. Based on the data from a representative international company, the system performance was assessed. A number of parameters describing the system were presented, among others: a degree of participation – the percentage of employees who participate in the system, a degree of adoption – the percentage of submitted. Over half (58%) of submitted employee ideas can be classified as suggestions referring to organizational areas, followed by ideas related to work safety and the environment 22%, quality 15%, costs of organization 5%. The article is a continuation of research on the subject of the Polish economy.
